Rhythm & Gold is an acoustic duo made up of husband and wife team, Jason & Mandy Pickering. This talented musical couple have been performing together as a duo for over 12 years and have recently relocated from New Zealand and are now available as brand new musical talent to the Tweed Coast. 

Rhythm & Gold specialise in providing live music for weddings and special events. Mandy is an accomplished singer and pianist with a successful album and hit song that made its way to the New Zealand top 40 charts. Jason is a talented guitarist and sound technician and together they make the perfect team. Rhythm & Gold have toured New Zealand and the East Coast of Australia and now they are focusing on wedding entertainment, performing a selection of timeless classics in their own unique and captivating style.

Rhythm & Gold have a beautiful song list to complement your special day including live music for your ceremony, pre-reception canapés/drinks, reception and they can even DJ the dance floor party music to keep everyone on their feet. If your perfect aisle song isn’t on their current song list, there is an option for them to learn a song just for your special day. Wedding package options start from just $990.

Mandy’s singing career started with her winning the last series of ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ in New Zealand. Since then, she and Jason have performed at weddings and prestigious events throughout New Zealand including the Sunset Symphony Concert, the launch of Qatar Airways, NZ International Business Awards and Conference Incentives, giving them the opportunity to perform at venues such as Te Papa, The Beehive, Auckland Museum and some of New Zealand’s most beautiful vineyards.
