Marina Machado Cakes

Marina loves cakes. Her obsession with cakes started as a 12 year old and continues to today. After studying cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu in London, Marina worked with some wonderful chefs including two Michelin-starred chef, Marcus Wareing, and it wasn’t long before she found her way into one of London’s great pastry kitchens – the Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge. It was there that she could bake all the delicious, sweet things she dreamt of.

Marina puts her heart and soul into every creation. And it’s not just about making a visual statement with your wedding cake, it’s also about having the wow-factor when your guests taste it for the first time. Marina’s cakes taste amazing – only the freshest ingredients, prepared and baked to perfection.

In addition to wedding cakes, Marina specialises in macarons, bem casado (traditional Brazilian wedding sweets) and other delicious bite-sized treats that can be ordered individually or as an entire dessert table.

No matter the type of wedding you are after, Marina would be delighted to work with you to design the wedding cake of your dreams. Complimentary tastings are an essential part of the consultation process. Marina would love to invite you to her cake studio to discuss cake design and flavour options and, of course, delight your palate with some delicious samples.

Marina specialises in a range of delectable flavours. A full list is available on request – and if your favourite is not on the list, Marina will be happy to add it. All dietary requirements are catered for including gluten free, nut free, raw and vegan.
