Hey, I’m Dan, a creative soul with a love for romance. Working with Daniel Chafer Photography, you get more than just a photographer. You get a friend who not only captures your love authentically + artfully, but who also creates a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable, at ease, and taken care of throughout the entire process. I believe, at the end of the day, these true moments, even the smallest ones, are what mean the most. Weddings are filled with these tiny moments and the fact that I get to capture them, stop time and hand them onto you to be remembered forever means more than you may ever know. It’s a very personal experience for me to be invited into the intimacy and intensity of your wedding day.

My approach to documenting weddings isn’t to have you smiling at cheesy photos all day. It’s to give you a little bit of guidance then let it unfold naturally in front of the camera so it’s captured truthfully and not staged. Let’s Be Honest. Most people think photos will be awkward! FALSE! You’ve just had an awkward person take photos of you! I got you! Think of it more like a low key hangout. I’ll just happen to have a camera on me!
