Farm and Co. Weddings Moody Styled Shoot

We’re so happy to be sharing this stunning styled shoot that took place at Farm + Co Weddings in Cudgen, one of the newest and most unique wedding venues in Northern NSW. The venue offers a paddock-to-plate dining experience, making it perfect for non-traditional couples who want to celebrate their love in a unique way.

The style of the shoot was moody and romantic, with a hint of nostalgia that added to the overall aesthetic. The Tweed Coast Weddings suppliers involved in this shoot were truly exceptional, an absolute dream team.

Beautifully captured, Ivy Road Photography deserves a special mention, along with Harper Arrow who led things from a style point of view and created the amazing florals. The combination of wildflowers and traditional florals helped set the moody but romantic vibe, that suited this cozy farm wedding venue perfectly. As an added bonus – we have had the chance to catch up with the team at Harper Arrow, and hear their insights on what inspired the shoot and other tips on how to style this beautiful venue.

What would you call the style?
We wanted to create a whimsical meadow similar to the fields & nature surrounding the venue.

What inspiration did you draw from the venue to determine the style for the shoot?
The beautiful landscape and natural features of the venue allowed for us to play with soft tones and beautiful textures within the design. We bought in elements that complimented the raw timber & lush foliage.

What’s the best part about styling a venue like the Farm + Co. Weddings
The open plan layout lends itself to a vast array of design opportunities, which allows for each wedding to look different. Farm + Co. Weddings also supply on trend banquet tables & cross back chairs, which is such a great attribute.

3 styling tips for couples looking to get married at Farm + Co. Weddings?
1. The delicious feasting menu will line the middle of the tables, keep the table styling & floral design with this in mind.
2. Utilise the overhead beam features in the indoor/outdoor spaces with florals, they will create wow moments and frame the space.
3. Repurpose ceremony elements to the reception space, it is easily accessible and you will get best value for money.
