Congratulations to Summergrove Estate on Winning Best Reception Venue for 2018!

We’re popping the champagne for our friends at Summergrove Estate who have recently celebrated a huge win – these guys have just been named the Best Reception Venue in QLD at the annual ABIA awards!

Now in its 20th year, the ABIA (Australian Bridal Industry Academy) awards recognise the best of the best in the wedding industry. And when it comes to award-winning reception venues, we’d have to agree that Summergrove ticks plenty of boxes, with an impressive 73 acres of lush Tweed Coast hinterland, picturesque ocean and valley views, and both indoor and outdoor spaces for couples to take advantage of.

With over 7000 couples voting in this year’s ABIA awards, we are incredibly excited to celebrate this recent win for the Summergrove team, who have had a pretty huge year already in 2018. These guys recently took social media by storm with the addition of their dreamy new all-white wedding barn, showcasing this Pinterest-worthy new structure at our very first Tweed Wedding Trail event.

Their sweet light-filled chapel overlooking the hinterland also nabbed Summergrove third place in the Ceremony Venue category at the awards, while their romantic on-site villa recognised them as Runner-Up for the First-Night Honeymoon spot. And with such a passionate wedding team working hard behind the scenes (and over 400 weddings now under their belt!) it’s hardly surprising to hear that these guys received a 99.95% rating from their couples.

We’ve loved witnessing the transformation of this picturesque Tweed Coast venue over the years, with owners John, Donna and the entire Summergrove crew being well-deserving of such a prestigious accolade.
