A boho wedding style can be a tricky one to master, but with thanks to a clear vision from the couple and a team of wonderfully talented Tweed Coast suppliers, Brittney and Justin pulled it off without a hitch.

On top of their incredible boho style, there’s also a heap of super simple DIY ideas in this wedding that can inspire your own wedding planning. So if you’re leaning towards a boho style and keen to pick up some clever creative ideas, this one is for you…

We spoke with mumma of three and Bride, Brittney to find out how they achieved such a cohesive wedding style. “We wanted to achieve ‘Blissful Bohemian.’ I went on a Pinterest binge and pinned everything I was drawn to with a boho vibe and from there it just evolved. I could not be more happy with how everything pulled together and created the most magical day, we wanted everything to have a chilled vibe and for our loved ones to have fun and I think we achieved it.”

When it came to selecting the venue, it was an easy choice, “we live in Brisbane and travel down to the NSW coastlines nearly every weekend in summer and having 3 young children that we wanted to be a big part of our day, we knew Osteria was the perfect venue for us with the lush, chilled vibes we always wanted, it was a no brainer to secure it.”

And when it came to selecting the date, that too was easy, “I am a person that is all about meaning, when planning our big day most things had to have meaning to Justin and I. We choose our wedding date (03.03.18) because we have 3 children and we got engaged with a triangle ring (3 sides) so we knew our wedding had to have 3’s and triangles in it.”

“The amazing arbour that hung behind us when saying our vows is just one example we incorporated into this theme it was beautifully custom made with three points and is now an amazing piece that hangs on our walls at home with great meaning.”

“We wanted something different for our men’s suits and ended up loving forest green and found the perfect ones on ASOS, falling in love with this colour ended up setting the colour theme for our wedding. “

“Surrounded by 80 of our closest loved ones we married on what started as a cloudy overcast day and to our surprise right before I walked down the aisle the sun came out and made it one of the hottest days ( no complaining here).”

“Spending the day with the people that mean the most, you could really feel the love in the air. Watching the drinks flowing and the smiles on everyone’s face was the icing on our cake. We are so grateful everything fell into place and ran so smoothly and could not thank the Osteria team enough for this.”

With Brittney becoming a self-confessed Pinterest binger, it’s no surprise that her number one tip for Brides-to-be is to “be organised and breathe!”
