Fingal Lighthouse
Enjoy a short walk through lush protected rainforest, and you’ll find yourself amongst the unique basalt rock surrounds of Fingal Lighthouse. Perched above turquoise waters (keep an eye out for dolphins and whales!), this rugged coastal outlook is the perfect secluded setting for sunset portraits. And for a little bit of added magic? This sacred space is also thought to be protected by ancestral spirits.

Cabarita Headland
Just a stone’s throw away from our Casuarina and Kingscliff wedding venues, Cabarita Headland is arguably one of the best lookouts on the Tweed Coast. Framed by an abundance of pandanus trees (and recently voted Australia’s best beach), this impressive grassy headland offers panoramic ocean views from every angle. Take a wander around the headland during golden hour – depending on the season, you can enjoy pastel pink skies or a burnt orange sunset for the ultimate photo backdrop.

This unique spot offers a rugged natural landscape for your wedding photos, with plenty of open space available – perfect for those bridal party snaps or smoke bomb portraits!

Fins Plantation House Cactus Garden
The quirky cactus garden at Fins Plantation House has quickly become one of our favourite wedding photo destinations. In walking distance from the venue, this hidden gem is ideal for a fun and creative portrait session here on the Tweed Coast. Because cacti can survive in harsh conditions, they’ve also become a symbol of unconditional love – making your wedding photos just that little bit extra special.

This world-famous beach isn’t just a surfer’s paradise, but also an incredible location for your post-ceremony portraits. We’re talking long, uninterrupted stretches of pristine white sand, warm pastel skies and glittering ocean views – what could be more romantic?
