The annual Winter Open Day is the perfect opportunity to tour some our best wedding venues in the Tweed region, chat with an array of talented Tweed Coast Weddings suppliers, and find wedding ideas and inspiration for your special day. Plus, score some exclusive booking discounts from venues and suppliers, available only for attendees.

Designed as an interactive event, you can take the day at your own pace and see whichever venues you like, at whatever time suits you best. And did we mention the event is completely FREE and open to everyone? The more, the merrier!

ANCORA

If light-filled interiors and a modern Mediterranean style is your vibe, be sure to head down to Ancora, situated at Tweed Heads overlooking the Terranora Inlet. This dreamy waterfront wedding venue will be open between 10am – 2pm, with a bunch of talented local suppliers on board.

Enjoy live music and complimentary cocktails by Brookies Gin as you tour the venue, meet and greet suppliers and be inspired! You can also take advantage of Ancora’s exclusive open day offer, with your choice of up to $1000 off your food and beverage package or a free upgrade to the Deluxe Package (T&Cs apply).

BABALOU

Venture down to the coastal town of Kingscliff and enjoy epic ocean views as you visit Babalou. Open from 10am – 2pm, this beachside venue will be decked out with beautiful styling, live music and some of the region’s best local suppliers.

If ocean views aren’t enough to entice you, enjoy the pop-up mimosa cart and Babalou’s famous antipasto cones as you tour the venue. The first 30 brides through the door will also receive a complimentary gift, and the venue will be offering an exclusive booking discount for attendees.

FARM AND CO. WEDDINGS

Nestled in the rolling hills of Cudgen you’ll find Farm & Co. Weddings, opening their doors between 9am and 11am. This stunning restaurant venue is just a short drive from Kingscliff, known for its paddock-to-plate menu and beautiful scenery.

Enjoy sweeping valley views, take a stroll through the sunflower fields and explore the styled reception space as you meet and greet some talented local suppliers. Open day attendees can also score up to $1500 off their food and beverage package from the venue (T&Cs apply). Or you can preview the Farm + Co Weddings dining experience by booking in for lunch at the restaurant from 12pm.

OSTERIA

If you’re looking for an all-inclusive venue on the Tweed Coast, be sure to add Osteria to your itinerary! Tucked away in the quiet seaside village of Casuarina, this dreamy venue will be opening their doors between 11am and 3pm, joined by an amazing team of local suppliers.

Sip on complimentary cocktails by Brookies Gin and enjoy live entertainment as you tour the Osteria garden and Refinery Hall, soaking up wedding inspiration from every corner! You’ll also find free gelato samples by Wheel & Spoon along with live couple illustrations by Golden Rose Creative.

Venture out to the picturesque Tweed Valley and visit Summergrove Estate, open between 11am and 4pm. Explore the venue’s iconic white chapel and light-filled reception barn as you enjoy panoramic views of the Tweed Coast and Valley.

There will be live music, a pop-up fairy floss cart, menu tastings and a beautifully styled space to admire! The venue is also offering a pretty sweet $1000 on-the-day discount for new January 2024 and February 2024 bookings (excluding Sundays, T&Cs apply).
